John Kaiser & Tom Tillberry, Roseville Area High School Counselors, and Dr. Kay Herting-Wahl, head of the School Counseling Program at the University of Minnesota were guests on the Don Shelby radio show on WCCO to discuss the shortage of school counselors in MN and to recognize National School Counselors Week.

State Representative Tom Tillberry was named a "Legislative Children's Champion" by the Children's Defense Fund Action Council for casting his vote consistently in 2007 to invest in children and to ensure every Minnesota child has access to health coverage. "I signed on to the 'Children's Health Security Act' because we must provide the resources needed to secure our children's future," said Rep. Tillberry. "Ensuring every Minnesota child has access to health coverage is essential to the well-being of our children and our state." Rep.
